Dear Reader,

According to common statistics, each person in America consumes about 150 pounds of sugar and sweeteners every year. As people eat more and more sugar, rates of obesity, diabetes and heart disease are climbing rapidly. Some say sugar is the problem, but I say sugar is actually the solution.

Sounds a bit absurd, right?

Just take a look at the lives of people around you. Most are working long hours at high-pressure jobs, plus raising families and managing their bills and commitments. Few take time for pleasure and relaxation; they just get busier and more stressed out. On top of this, many eat large amounts of meat and salty snacks; this helps them feel sharp and focused so they can get through their days.

The natural outcome of a high-pressure lifestyle, plus a high-salt and high-protein diet, is sugar cravings. Sugar gives people a high, making them feel happy and relaxed. With no other escape valve, people will naturally look for a quick dose of pleasure and energy. Sugar is the solution to the stress of modern life. Without it, people would explode.

To solve America's sugar crisis, along with other critical health problems, we need fresh thinking. Typical approaches will no longer cut it. At Integrative Nutrition we have pioneered a new philosophy of nutrition that will help transform the well-being of this nation. Would you like to be part of this mission? Would you like to see meaningful changes in your life, your family's life and the world around you? If so, I encourage you to check out our school. I'd love for you to join us.
