If you’re looking to combine your clinical training with a holistic approach that offers your patients the best available health care, then the Professional Training Program is for you!
Backed by Columbia University, The Institute for Integrative Nutrition is the only school of its kind. We teach all the different dietary theories – from Eastern to Western, ancient to modern – and our guest speakers are world-renowned physicians at the forefront of integrative medicine and healing.
Our guest speakers include:
• Walter Willet, MD, Chairman of Nutrition at the Harvard School of Public Health and professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School
• Andrew Weil, MD, founder and Director of the Program in Integrative Medicine (PIM) at University of Arizona
• Barry Sears, MD, biochemist and nutrition specialist who founded the Zone Diet
• Deepak Chopra, MD, Founder of the Chopra Center for Wellbeing in La Jolla, Ca
• Neal Barnard, MD, Founder of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine
• Mark Hyman, MD, Editor-in-Chief of Alternative Therapies in Health
The Institute for Integrative Nutrition’s program was designed for busy professionals. We hold classes on weekends, and cover an immense amount of material in each session. Class work is supplemented with books, CDs, DVDs, a robust online community, and a personal health counselor (a graduate of the program) who will work one-on-one with you to help you reach your goals!
Meet professional healthcare graduates of the program.
