Joshua Rosenthal, MScEd

Primary teacher with 25 years' experience in the fields of whole foods, personal coaching, curriculum development, business and nutritional counseling. Arthur Agatston, MD

Dr. Agatston is a preventive cardiologist and associate professor of medicine at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He has authored many scientific articles and books, including the best-selling The South Beach Diet Supercharged. His Agatston Research Foundation conducts and funds research on diet, cardiac health and disease prevention.

Barry Sears, PhD

Founder of the Zone Diet, a pioneer in biotechnology, developing drug-delivery systems for cancer and heart patients, a former MIT researcher, holding 12 patents for cancer treatments and dietary control of hormones and author of more than 10 books about the Zone Diet.

Andrew Weil, MD

A Harvard Medical School graduate, Dr. Weil is a world-renowned expert on medicinal herbs, mind-body interactions and healing systems. Walter Willett, MD

Andrea Beaman

A successful health counselor, Integrative Nutrition graduate, and author of The Whole Truth, Ms. Beaman teaches the art of cooking whole foods in a simple, fun and quick way. Andrea is the host of FED UP!, a cooking show that teaches viewers how and what to cook to alleviate specific health conditions. She is also the host of WISE UP!, where she travels across the country in search of life-enhancing activities, and was featured on Bravo’s Top Chef.

T. Colin Campbell, PhD

T. Colin Campbell, Professor Emeritus of Nutritional Biochemistry at Cornell University and author of The China Study, has had a long career in research, teaching and development of national and international diet, nutrition and health. His studies have ranged from work in the Philippines developing a nationwide program for feeding malnourished children to the organization and directorship of a nationwide study on diet, health and disease in China, the culmination of a 20-year partnership of Cornell University, Oxford University and the Chinese Academy of Preventive Medicine, commonly known as the China Study.

John Douillard, PhD

Dr. Douillard has been teaching ayurveda for over 16 years, and has certified over 2,000 Western doctors in ayurvedic medicine. He is the author of The 3-Season Diet and The Encyclopedia of Ayurvedic Massage.

Sally Fallon Morrell

Sally Fallon Morrell is a journalist, chef, nutrition researcher, community activist, and the author of Nourishing Traditions: The Cookbook that Challenges Politically Correct Nutrition and the Diet Dictocrats and Eat Fat Lose Fat. She is also the founding president of the Weston A. Price Foundation for wise traditions in food, farming and the healing arts.

Lynn Goldstein, MS, RD

Graduate of our school, she has a private practice with a primary focus in gastrointestinal cancer. She has served as a staff dietitian for New York Presbyterian Hospital and Beth Israel ALS Center and as a nutritional educator for the Jay Monahan Center of Gastrointestinal Health in New York.

Mark Hyman, MD

The Editor-In-Chief of Alternative Therapies in Health and Medicine, he continues his medical practice in MA. Dr. Hyman is the co-author of the bestselling book Ultraprevention: the Six-Week Plan that Will Make You Healthy for Life; author of Ultrametabolism: The Simple Plan for Automatic Weight Loss; and creator of The Detox Box.

Michael Jacobson, PhD

Mr. Jacobson is the executive director for the Center for Science in the Public Interest, an independent consumer advocacy organization he co-founded in 1971 to conduct innovative research in health and nutrition. He is the co-author of Restaurant Confidential and Six Arguments for a Greener Diet.

David Katz, MD

Renowned expert on weight control, nutrition and preventative medicine, David Katz, MD is author of the Flavor Point Diet and the Flavor-Full Diet, and the founder and director of the Yale Prevention Research Center.

Howard Lyman

Howard Lyman is a fourth-generation family farmer in Montana, president and founder of Voice for a Viable Future, and the activist that turned Oprah Winfrey against hamburgers. He has become a spokesperson for family farmers.
