Health Education Online
You can start learning as soon as you enroll. We've developed our Warm Up Program to introduce you to some of the wonderful aspects of our program: the interactive student community, curriculum and resource material, alumni and staff support on our online forum. You’ll be guided through the materials so you’ll be 100% prepared when classes begin.
When you enroll, you'll receive:
- Your welcome materials, including books, our Healthy Shopping, Healthy Cooking and Natural Ovens DVD, as well as health supportive items and food samples.
- You will also gain access to our Online Education Forums, a virtual learning space where you can connect with other students. You can interact at any time of day with everyone in our community. You will always have access to the OEF, even after you graduate. Forum topics include over 100 dietary theories, business support, new recipe ideas and more.
- Your personal website: Building a website is an expensive and time-consuming endeavor.
We provide each student with a health coaching website when they enroll. When you’re ready to work with clients, you’ll have all the tools you need. As your practice develops, you can edit and personalize the website in a way that works best for you.
- Focus Classes: Nutrition, health and wellness experts record talks on topics such as children’s health, gluten intolerance and supplements. These classes are available for all students who want to focus deeper on a particular nutrition topic. Some sample class topics and speakers include 100 Year Lie: Synergy of Food with Randall Fitzgerald, A Career in Health with Mike Adams, Atkins Diet with Colette Heimowitz, Holistic Gynecology with Helen Lionetti, and Getting the Love you Want with Harville Hendrix.
- Warm Up Classes: The Warm Up Classes will introduce you to fundamental nutrition concepts and introduce you to the Integrative Nutrition curriculum. You'll be guided through the materials, so you will be 100% prepared when classes begin. Each Warm Up class includes an assignment and additional resources such as articles and websites for further research.
Two sample classes are now available for you to listen to in order to get a feel for our program.
