Last weekend, a group of Integrative Nutrition staff members had the pleasure to connect with the New York City community at the Union’s Square farmers market. The famed Greenmarket brings together 140 regional farmers, fishermen, and bakers several days a week, and more than 60,000 shoppers gather on peak days to enjoy the fresh and seasonal produce, heritage meats, artisan breads, flowers, plants, and much more.
We were thrilled to set up a booth last Saturday in Union Square to distribute tips on the benefits of shopping locally, connect about Integrative Nutrition, and talk with shoppers about what they enjoy most about healthy and local eating. Amidst the hustle and bustle, we even handed out almost 2,000 reusable and eco-friendly Integrative Nutrition tote bags! Check out the video below for a taste of the beautiful day:
