With summer upon us, it’s truly the perfect time to let ourselves live out loud with greater freedom and the feeling of limitless possibilities.

At Integrative Nutrition, we consider summer to be a peak season for Primary Food, a term that describes how we nourish ourselves with the many non-dietary items that bring us joy and overall well-being – like meaningful relationships and fulfilling work.

Warmer weather also brings with it a sense of adventure, movement, expansion, and play as we spend time letting loose with the people we love while being outdoors in nature. This might be a challenge for some, so to help you truly embrace the natural rhythms of the season we came up with a few uplifting affirmations you can use daily to have the best summer ever.

In case you’re not familiar, affirmations are positive words or phrases that can help you attract something you desire, or deepen your sense of appreciation for what you have. Choose one of the affirmations below that represent something you want to embody and repeat it in your mind daily – especially in the evening right before you go to bed. You can also write it down several times a day to give your intention even more power.
