Your Guide to a Guilt-Free BBQ [Infographic]

The days are getting longer, the weather is getting warmer and school is almost out…which means summer is right around the corner!

Next Monday, May 30, is Memorial Day in the United States, it’s a day to honor all men and women who have died in military service for the United States. To honor their lives and sacrifice, many people commemorate this day by hosting outdoor get-togethers with family and friends, that’s why it’s often deemed the unofficial start of summer.

Whether you’re working up a sweat enjoying the outdoors or relaxing at the family barbeque, chances are you’ll be exposed to sugary drinks and processed foods all weekend.

At Integrative Nutrition, we follow the 90/10 rule. Which means, 90% of the time you should focus on eating whole, unprocessed foods and allow yourself to indulge 10% of the time on whatever you’d like. Luckily, there are many ways to indulge mindfully, so you can have your cake and eat it too! That’s why we created this handy infographic, with the dos and don’ts for a guilt-free weekend!
