12 Tips For a Better 2017 Inside and Out [Infographic]

Welcome to 2017! If you haven’t already, these first few days of the year are an ideal opportunity to reflect on the previous year and set intentions for the months ahead.

As we all embark together on another journey around the sun, we at Integrative Nutrition urge our students and coaches to consider the concept of the Circle of Life by integrating Primary Food into this year’s resolutions.

What does that mean exactly? If you’re new to the concept, Primary Food is a collection of areas in your life that might be affecting your well-being. For instance, a stack of unpaid credit card bills or a toxic relationship could be undoing the good of all those yoga classes and healthy meals.

Below, find a suggestion for a New Year’s resolution in each area of the Circle of Life. Keep in mind that it’s easier to hold yourself accountable for goals that are specific (e.g., work out three times a week) rather than arbitrary (e.g., work out more often). Be sure to write down your resolutions and remind yourself of them throughout the year so that you stay on track.
