Job: Co-founder and Owner NibMor Chocolates.
Favorite foods: Chocolate and kale (not together!)
Favorite activity outside of work: Walking my dog in the mornings before anyone is out and about.
Craziest thing I’ve ever done: Starting my own company. It's a leap of faith that leaves you full of belief, fear and courage.
Proudest moment: Seeing NibMor on a grocery store shelf for the first time.
Health concerns I've cleared up: Sugar addiction, candida, migraine headaches, brittle hair and nails, low energy and lack of focus.
Nutrition education is important because: People around the world are getting sick because of bad eating habits. It is our responsibility as the ones who chose this path to continue to spread the word and clarify mixed messages for our communities.
What I love about Integrative Nutrition: IIN gave me the tools and courage to go out there and do something else. The support from the community and the constant sharing of information is priceless. I wanted to learn the most cutting-edge scientific and nutrition information in the business! I never want to stop bringing my clients or NibMor's customers the latest information.
About My Practice
My specialty: Time management, sugar addiction, candida and internal cleansing. Clients experience weight loss, eliminate cravings and improve their life balance.
In addition to seeing clients, I also: Make the healthiest chocolate ever! NibMor!
What I love about what I do: Everything! I wake up in the morning and I leap out of bed, excited to begin each day.
How my life has changed: One hundred and eighty degrees. I was a struggling actress and now I am a businesswoman with a thriving company!
How I am making a difference in my community: I work with Health Corps (Dr. Oz's organization to fight childhood obesity). I go into inner city schools and teach high school students about eating well.
My greatest success so far: NibMor has entered several conventional grocery chains. It means we are doing something right and starting to reach the mainstream.
The message I want to get out: You don't have to give up everything (especially chocolate) to be healthy!
