Job: Corporate Wellness Consultant and Health Coach

Favorite snack food: Dark chocolate. And dark chocolate.

Wildest dream: To be on stage, presenting to thousands of people and inspiring them. To write a book that will be reviewed by Oprah.

Health concerns I've cleared up: I have learned what foods best support me and that wheat is not my friend. How great to really understand that the "brain fog" is not me, but associated with what I have been eating.

Nutrition education is important because: Good nutrition feeds the mind, body and soul. When someone is well "fed" they can be the best versions of themselves. When this happens, so many are affected in positive ways.

What I love about health coaching: I love to be a part of the change that happens when I work with clients. This work also keeps me "honest" in my personal journey for greater health and happiness.

What I love about Integrative Nutrition: I was impressed with the faculty and adjunct speakers. I love how IIN brings together so many experts in their field to share their expertise despite their varying and different perspectives. Awesome!

About My Practice

My specialty: Working with busy professionals. I help them lose weight, feel better about themselves and discover new foods that support them best. My program is information intensive, but feels very supportive.

My favorite juicy question to ask my clients is: How does that serve you?

In addition to seeing clients, I also: Supplement existing corporate wellness programs.

I chose to learn at Integrative Nutrition because:

What I love about what I do: Helping and inspiring people make positive changes.

How my life has changed: I have my own business and feel as if what I do is congruent with who I am.

How I am making a difference in my community: I am currently working with the school my children attend as well as the leader of my church.

My greatest success so far: One of my first clients lost 16 pounds in 6 months, got off her statin drug and lowered her thyroid meds! She has continued to lose weight (she’s now down 20 pounds). She looks great—but more importantly, she feels great!

My favorite inspirational quote: "It's the everyday decisions that shape our lives."—Anonymous
