Job: Health Coach and Fitness Instructor

Favorite foods: Raw chocolate. Kale salad.

Health concerns I've cleared up: Chronic dieting, sugar addiction and PCOS. What we eat affects everything. I’ve overcome an eating disorder and infertility—and now have two sons.

What I love about Integrative Nutrition: Everything! The people, the focus on primary food, and bio-individuality. I wanted to support my personal training clients in eating better. I chose IIN because the philosophy made sense to me.

About My Practice

My specialty: Working with moms who are looking to upgrade their health, release excess weight and make peace with their bodies. Clients gain energy, feel more confident about their food choices, and add in more time for self care.

What my clients love about my program: The opportunity to focus on themselves. Moms are so busy taking care of everyone else that they need supportive coaches to remind them that their health is important. I love supporting people in changing their lives.

My favorite juicy question to ask my clients is: Are you a fast, slow, or moderate eater?

In addition to seeing clients, I also: Run group programs, teleclasses, health food store tours, workshops for kids and adults, teach fitness classes and feed my family well.

What I love about what I do: I love working with my individual clients and watching them thrive. Being a health coach gives me the opportunity to help so many people and most importantly it has made me a better mom.

How my life has changed: My life has changed in so many ways. I no longer struggle with chronic dieting. I understand and notice how food affects my energy level and mood. I have fun cooking with my kids and love that they enjoy healthy food. I am no longer a sugar addict.

How I am making a difference in my community: I have spoken at PTA meetings, Girl Scout meetings, parenting groups, and at the gyms I work at. I love to share simple easy strategies to get people started on the path to wellness.

My greatest success so far: Changing my family’s food habits and overcoming my body image struggles.

In the future, I see myself: Growing my Health Coaching business by working with more women and girls with body image issues.

The message I want to get out: Anything is possible.

My favorite inspirational quote: "There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is though everything is a miracle." - Albert Einstein
