Job: Health, Nutrition & Exercise Coach and Corporate Wellness Presenter

Favorite foods: Fresh fruit, raw Gouda cheese, green smoothies, and organic turkey roll-ups.

Health concerns I've cleared up: Cholesterol, weight issues and hormonal imbalance.

Nutrition education is important because: It is empowering to know that food is as powerful as medicine and every person needs different types and amounts to feel their best.

What I love about health coaching: Breaking through plateaus and seeing my clients improve their self esteem through success. There is nothing greater than seeing the transformation of my clients and experiencing their ah-ha moments.

What I love about Integrative Nutrition: I believe you can always learn more and improve your own skills.  The health and wellness industry is forever changing and evolving, and it’s great to be involved with a cutting-edge program. IIN has helped me to grow personally and professionally. I’ve learned to be a better listener, be empathetic, and to deliver my information in a way that is manageable and not overwhelming.

About My Practice

My specialty: Corporate wellness presentations, getting back to your best body without deprivation and pills, celiac and gluten-intolerant clients and cancer survivors. Clients enjoy better body definition and blood composition, a renewed energy and zest for life because they are empowered with the knowledge they need to stay healthy, and support around living gluten-free without feeling deprived

What my clients love about my program: It’s manageable, flexible, and clients never have to hear the word "no" unless the food or action could be detrimental to them.

My favorite juicy question to ask my clients is: What is the biggest goal you want to accomplish with me? What do you think has been standing in your way of reaching it?

In addition to seeing clients, I also: Am the mother of three children, I’m on several boards at my children’s’ school, I’m a past PTA president, and I raise money for charity.

How my life has changed: Once I began to utilize the tools from the Fast Track program I identified my goals and niche market and then clients started to seek me out. From day one, my business took off.

How I am making a difference in my community: I give presentations at local schools to teach parents how food can effect the behavior of a child with ADD.

My greatest success so far: My children collectively dropped 25 pounds, 65 cholesterol points, 18 insulin points and now live gluten-free without deprivation.

The message I want to get out: You don't have to have aches and pains with age.  You can still have the same energy as when you were in your 20's.  We create our lives with positive thoughts, words, and actions!
