You will assist on social media projects, including:

  • Translating content from English to Spanish (how 50% of your time may be spent)
    and managing Spanish-speaking presence on major social media sites
  • Creating original content in Spanish for social media sites and our blog that engages our Spanish-speaking community
  • Managing online Spanish-speaking discussions by listening to what the users are saying, reading discussion forums, and responding in a timely manner to the users’ needs
  • Working across departments to ensure proper messaging is being executed online that will help reach the company objectives
  • Supporting and protecting brand by making sure that positive messaging is maintained in community and establish consistency of messages
  • Preparing reports to update internal staff on social media statistics
  • Drafting social media project plans and timelines
  • Executing/tracking social media projects and ensuring timely completion
  • Conducting research

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
We are looking for a social media team member with 1-3 years of experience in the social media field. You would be the perfect candidate for this position if you:

  • Have exceptional writing skills in English and in Spanish
  • Have excellent communications skills, both verbal and written in English and in Spanish
  • Have excellent skills and experience in language translation
  • Have experience in community management within different social media spaces (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc)
  • Are an engaged member of social media sites, blogs etc
  • Have good analytical and networking skills
  • Are organized and efficient, with strong prioritization skill
  • Have a strength in time management and multitasking
  • Use deadlines to support your growth
  • Design and/or tech skills a plus
  • Knowledge of social media analytics (Facebook insights, Hootsuite reports, etc.) a plus
  • Have experience in online marketing, advertising and public relations strategies
  • Are able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Are familiar with the field of holistic wellness and nutrition
  • Enjoy working in a dynamic and efficient team and can shift in a new direction without resistance
  • Graduates of the school are preferred but not required
