Is Integrative Nutrition Worth the Investment?
Are you ready for a change in your life but you don’t want to choose the wrong path? We get it! Our money is hard earned and our time is precious. Going back to school is a decision that requires time, planning, and resources.
If you’ve been thinking about enrolling at Integrative Nutrition, here are a few things to consider as you decide if it’s worth the investment for you.
Cost. The cost of a traditional education can be a small fortune. According to the College Board, the average cost of private college tuition and fees for the 2014–2015 school year was $31,231 for one year – yowza! If you choose to attend a traditional college, you’re looking at two to four years of education at a hefty cost.
Many people are not able to recoup the investment if jobs in their area of study are not available. They don’t end up using their degree or go into a completely different field after fruitlessly searching for a job.
Health coaching, on the other hand, is one of the fastest growing professions out there. Coaches are in demand and the schooling only takes a year to complete at a fraction of the cost of traditional education. With an IIN education, you’ll come out of the training with a marketable career.
Time. At Integrative Nutrition, you only need one year of schooling versus four years or more of full-time studies. Because an IIN education is designed for adult learners, you don’t have to put your life on hold to launch your new career. With our flexible online learning classroom, you can fit your education around your life and busy schedule. We even pre-certify you six months into your training so that you can start seeing clients and making money while you learn.
Clarity. Maybe you’re not 100% sure what you want to do with your life yet. You know you’re passionate about health, you want to help others, and you want to feel inspired by your work, but you’re not sure if you see yourself as a Health Coach. That’s okay – we can help!
Because we have such a strong emphasis on personal development, goal setting, and wellness from the inside out, people improve all aspects of their lives as they go through this training. You’ll get clarity around your desires and learn how to take action steps to get you where you want to go. Whether you decide to write a book, become a Health Coach, launch a product line, or even choose a different career path, your choice will come from finding your true self and owning your ambitions. That’s certainly worth the investment to us!
Start-up costs. If you see yourself becoming a Health Coach, attending Integrative Nutrition is a solid business investment. Most schools don’t provide you with all of the tools you need to start your practice right off the bat. At Integrative Nutrition, you’ll graduate with a customizable website, business cards, brochures, workshop outlines, program forms, and a whole host of additional business resources so you can hit the ground running. You can’t really put a price on the business savvy and hands-on experience you’ll develop going through the training.
Health. We always say that you are your first client. Learn about the ins-and-outs of different dietary theories, experiment with different ways of eating, and find what makes you feel your best. You’re investing in your future health by getting healthy now. Taking control of your health issues, body image issues, and weight issues once and for all? You can’t really set a value on peace of mind!
Community. You’ll have the chance to connect with a community of passionate, liked-minded peers who share the same interests and concerns. The friendships you make with your fellow classmates – those types of connections don’t come around every day. Did we mention the invaluable networking opportunities you’ll have? Those are pretty amazing. Finding your tribe is in a word, priceless.
