2. 2. How do I register and when is the deadline to register?

TBD

3. 3. Can I register to attend just one day?

Yes! You can register to attend Saturday, Sunday, or both days. During the registration process, you will be prompted to select one of those three options. Make sure that you double-check which days you’re registering to attend before you hit Next.

4. 4. Who will speak at the conference?

More speakers will be announced shortly! (More to come)

5. 5. Why can't I see a schedule of events?

Great question! We don't share speaker times because we want you to fully participate in the weekend. At IIN, it's less about seeing a certain speaker, and more about experiencing the live event, participating in paired, group shares, and connecting with our community. Think of it like a movie - you wouldn't only watch 30 minutes in the middle. Clear your schedule now and come into the weekend with an open mind, ready to experience a transformation! And that is what will happen.

6. 6. How can I connect with others before the conference?

Easy! Connect with your fellow peers on the IIN Live Events Facebook page. You can also connect in your class Facebook groups, but the Live Events Facebook page is where IIN staff will be posting. Use the hashtag #IINLive to participate in the conversation on Twitter and Instagram!

We suggest that you wear some red so we can identify one another!  A scarf, a bag, a hat – make it fun. Let’s get connected and paint the town red!

7. 7. Will meals be provided?

Meals will not be provided, but luckily for us, there are healthy options nearby like Whole Foods Market at Columbus Circle (in the same building as Jazz!).

Local restaurants include:

  • Le Pain Quotidien – 922 7th Avenue at 58th Street
  • Nanoosh Mediterranean Hummus Bar – 2012 Broadway at 67th Street
  • Citrus – 320 Amsterdam Avenue at 75th Street
  • Josie’s West – 300 Amsterdam Avenue at 74th Street

These are a bit farther, but great dinner options with a reservation:

  • Candle Café West – 2427 Broadway between 89th and 90th Streets
  • Peace Food Café – 460 Amsterdam Avenue at 82nd Street
  • Blossom – 466 Columbus Avenue between 82nd and 83rd Streets or 187 9th Avenue between 21st and 22nd Streets

8. 8. Can I bring a guest to the conference?

No, sorry! The conference is only open to current students and graduates. Please use this opportunity to make new friends, network, and share and develop ideas.

9. 9. If I registered for the conference but now I can’t attend, how do I cancel my registration?

You cannot cancel your ticket. If you do not attend, a $50 no-show fee per day will be charged to your credit card. Please only register for the conference if you are certain you can attend. The no-show fee will be donated to Habitat for Humanity.

10. 10. I just registered – was my credit card charged?

No. While this information is required at the time of registration, your card will only be charged if you do not attend the event. There is a $50 no-show fee that is charged the week after the conference for each day that you have registered and do not attend. Once you register, you cannot transfer or cancel your ticket.

13. 13. What should I bring to the conference?

Please print your registration ticket and have your ID available during check-in for both days. Registration is separate for each day, so that you can come Saturday only, Sunday only, or both days. You should also bring a notebook and pen to take notes and a bottle of water to stay hydrated.

If you select this option, an email will be sent to you prior to the conference with instructions on how to access the livestream from your computer/device.

SUBJECT TO CHANGE

You can use the time zone converter to see when the replays will be playing where you live.

During the replay times:

Students who used the OEF for your Health Coach Training Program, you will see a "View Conference Webcast" link on your Student Dashboard.

Students who use the Learning Center for your Health Coach Training Program, go to the Connect section of your Learning Center and select Go to Events.

Please note there will be some dead air between the weekend viewings, but the recordings will resume at 3:00am Eastern Time.

17. 17. Will I be able to share the livestream link?

Only students and graduates with a valid student login will be able to view the livestream since this is a closed event for the IIN community!

18. 18. Is the livestream a good substitute for attending the conference?

There is nothing like experiencing a live IIN conference and feeling the energy of your fellow students. However, we understand that not everyone will be able to make it, and the livestream option is a great alternative.

19. 19. Will I be able to pause the livestream?

Yes and no. You will be able to pause the livestream; however, when you re-start, it will revert back to the live broadcast and you will miss anything that occurred in between the time you hit pause and the present.

20. 20. What do I do if my livestream is freezing or not loading properly during the conference?

  • The first thing to try is refreshing (or "reloading") the web page.
  • If refreshing doesn't fix the issue, try closing your web browser completely and re-opening it.
  • You can also try using a different web browser. We don't have any suggestions as to which browser will work better for you, but make sure you’re using the most recent software update of whichever browser you choose.
  • You also want to make sure your Internet connection is strong for the best results.

In the bottom right hand corner, next to the LIVE signal, when you hover over with the mouse, options will appear for you to choose based on the quality of the stream: Select a lower quality (lowest being 240p) to avoid buffering issues.  Qualities broadcasted in a full HD video will be 240p (lowest), 320p, 480p, 720p (Best). The lower quality you select will improve your stream but may also make it more pixelated than the higher definition streams.  Choose a better picture or faster stream, ultimately that will be up to you.

21. 21. What do I do if I can see the livestream playing but i can't hear anything?

Please make sure your computer is playing audio properly. Try playing a YouTube clip, a song on iTunes, or something else that you know has audio you've heard before. If your test plays audio correctly but you still can't hear the livestream, please try refreshing (or "reloading") the web page, and the rest of the steps from the previous answer.

If you can't hear the audio playing during your test, there must be something wrong with your audio set up. Please check your volume level and make sure the volume is not muted or turned down too low to hear. Please make sure you have speakers plugged in. If there are headphones plugged in, please make sure you are listening to them. If you can't determine why the audio is not playing, try restarting your computer completely.

Then, only open YouTube, iTunes, or a file that you know has audio you've heard before. Your audio should play properly as long as you have nothing else open. Once you have a successful audio test, try playing the livestream again. Now the audio should play correctly.

22. 22. Will the presentation slides be available to view after the event?

Yes. The presentation slides will be uploaded to either your class’ OEF or Learning Center.

If you used the OEF for your Health Coach Training Program, the slides will be posted in the Alumni OEF

If you use the Learning Center for your Health Coach Training Program, the slides will be posted in the Connect section.

The conference slides will be available for three months only.

23. 23. Will videos be available to view after the event?

This is a live event and videos/replays are not available after the weekend. We encourage you to arrange your schedule accordingly.

24. 24. What do I do if my question was not answered on this site?

Please email events@integrativenutrition.com if you have additional questions, and visit the IIN Live Events Facebook page for updated information.
