How Priscilla Stephan Discovered Her Path to Wellness
Running herself into the ground is a thing of the past for Integrative Nutrition grad Priscilla Stephan. After 15 years as an executive in corporate America, feeling chronically fatigued and unfulfilled, the light at the end of the tunnel came once she enrolled in the Health Coach Training Program in 2011.
These days, Priscilla runs a New York City-based health coaching practice, Sweet Path Wellness, Inc., that helps busy working women reclaim their self-assurance and contentment. She uses a no-diet, no-deprivation method that holistically considers food intake, stress, sleep, relationships, and other lifestyle factors.
On top of running a successful business, Priscilla has also put together a health and wellness teleseminar designed to showcase talented women business owners around the world who have thriving businesses because they prioritize their health and well-being.

What were you doing prior to enrolling at Integrative Nutrition?
I spent 10 years in the environmental policy field in Washington, DC. While I loved that work, I craved a change and moved back to New York City to work on corporate event planning. After 5 years of unfulfilling work in that industry, I took a year off to complete Anthony Robbins' Mastery University program to figure out what would make me happy and then, I learned about Integrative Nutrition. Bingo!
What led you to explore the Health Coach Training Program?
I knew I wanted to do work that was aligned with my talents, was fulfilling, and would allow me to help people. I also wanted to heal my body and emotional eating issues to create a healthier relationship with food – which I did.
How did your life change after enrolling?
I completely changed my diet. It was a gradual process throughout the year, but I slowly added in more whole foods and significantly reduced the amount of sugar and processed foods I consumed. Today, I enjoy a very clean diet that supports my energy level.
What makes you and your practice or product unique?
I work with busy businesswomen and entrepreneurs who struggle with low energy, high stress, and the ever-elusive work/life balance to help them regain their health by embracing a sweeter path to wellness without diets or deprivation. My approach is both practical and holistic.
I help them tune into their body, appreciate and love the body they are in, and adopt a healthier, whole-foods approach to food that gives them more energy and vitality.
What do you love about your work?
I love the intimate nature of the work. I get to hear people's deepest desires and vulnerabilities. Plus, I'm inspired by their willingness to move through their roadblocks to achieve their goals. It takes courage to heal your food issues and upgrade your life and I feel so honored when people trust me with their most delicate desires and thoughts. When I hear about their results, it just makes my heart sing.
What’s been one of your favorite coach-client relationships?
I had a client who was 51 years old. In the 3 months we worked together, she changed her work-from-home schedule so her productivity tripled, created stricter boundaries with her family and clients, and started playing the piano.
What are you focused on right now?
I’m very excited about my Healthy Entrepreneur Event, a free online global telesummit that launches on January 28. I assembled a suite of 25 health and wellness experts – including several IIN graduates like Latham Thomas, Nisha Moodley, and Alisa Vitti, plus IIN guest speaker Dr. Mark Hyman – to share best practices, practical tools, and action steps to mastering the inner and outer game of being a healthy entrepreneur.
Through this week-long event, I hope to share the tools for the inner and outer game of a healthy life so that entrepreneurial women no longer have to be on a road to burnout and disappointment. It’s time that women business owners are shown a better way, from the women who have done it themselves.
