What were you doing prior to enrolling at IIN?

I was and still am working for the Brazilian government in a regional labor court. That’s where I’ve had the opportunity to conduct a project to educate people on preventive health subjects. Right before enrolling at IIN, I wanted to study health with an integrative approach and had just enrolled in an Ayurveda therapist course that I decided to put on pause because the IIN curriculum was a lot more like what I was looking for at that moment. It was the best decision I could have made! Also, on the day of my IIN graduation, I got a message from the same Ayurveda course offering me a 50% discount to join the course again, which I did. One of those synchronicities that come to life when we are aligned with our purpose. 

How did your life change after enrolling?

So many new doors opened in my life since starting at IIN!! I’m a lot more aware of my health in general and the foods I eat; I’ve connected with many potential business partners, some of whom I’m already conducting new projects with. I’ve become a lot more open to different approaches to health after learning about bio-individuality. I realized I love talking about food and sustainability and that that’s going to be a big part of my work moving forward. I am a lot more open to the signs of the universe, and IIN helped me become empowered to just trust my energy after learning from so many amazing professionals who do that; it really helped me change my perspective and trust more. I’m also very close to launching my mentoring program on conscious eating. I haven’t even started to announce that and already have clients coming to ask for my services, so I guess that’s one more thing that happens when the universe knows you are ready to help people. I will be forever grateful for this program and everything it has brought and will still bring to my life.

 ¿A qué te dedicabas antes de inscribirte en IIN?

Antes de comenzar mis estudios en IIN me dediqué por muchos años a enseñar a niños de primaria. Antes de la pandemia, renuncié a mi trabajo estable por más de 15 años en uno de los mejores colegios de Lima, Perú, llamado colegio San Silvestre, porque quería empezar otros proyectos personales como escribir un libro y dar clases particulares. Quería ser independiente. Todo esto se truncó durante la pandemia, no estuve bien de salud y no encontraba un nuevo camino para poder servir. Lamenté por bastante tiempo haber renunciado a un trabajo estable. Milagrosamente, una amiga me motivó a seguir con ella este curso en IIN. Fue como una señal inesperada que yo estaba buscando. Una corazonada me dijo que tenía que inscribirme en el curso.

¿Cómo cambió tu vida después de inscribirte en el curso?

Mi vida fue cambiando de a pocos, no solo fue mejorando mi salud, sino que comprendí muchas cosas sobre lo que me afectó durante la pandemia. Sentí como iba empoderándome a medida que hacía el curso y escuchaba a los notables expositores. Mi estilo de vida fue cambiando y encontré lo que realmente me apasionaba: servir con amor y crear un efecto dominó para que las personas sean más felices. Todo comienza por la salud. Yo la perdí durante la pandemia, pero aquí estoy para dar mi testimonio de que con salud todo se puede lograr en la vida.
