Celebrating a Weekend of LIVE Energy at Integrative Nutrition’s Conference

May 1, 2015

If you didn’t get to attend or livestream IIN Live this past weekend, you don’t want to miss these highlights. This event was one of our most exciting yet!

We’re still coming down from the infectious energy of the weekend – our community is like no other. IIN people are the coolest people in the world.

Check out our video recap below, so you can see the action first hand!

Integrative Nutrition Health Coaches are such a force for positive change, and together we are stronger than ever. When we support each other in the global shift to better health, we create a ripple effect that changes the lives of so many people.

Our mission is to play a crucial role in improving health and happiness, and through that process, create a ripple effect that transforms the world.

“Stay true to your deepest, spiritual understanding of what you know to be innately true.” – Joshua Rosenthal

Our theme for this event was primary food, and we had a great time connecting with students and graduates on this important core concept of Joshua’s.

It really is so true – our careers, relationships, spiritual practices and physical practices feed us so much more than the food on our plate. Food is important too, but it’s secondary.

“Protect your own energy and give to others.” – Joshua Rosenthal

Joshua went in depth on the subjects of relationships, career, cravings, and even sexuality, to name a few. He even showed us some of his favorite healthy recipes on stage, and we had a fantastic dance break where we shook it out to "World, Hold On (Children of the Sky)," reminding us that we can make such an impact when we come together.

As always, we had some great visiting teachers on our stage:

Paul Pitchford, whole foods pioneer and IIN favorite, shared his knowledge of the value of being balanced, while Geneen Roth shared her powerful personal journey from diet-binge cycles to intuitive eating.

Taryn Toomey got the crowd moving and energized with an inspiring demo of her total mind-body workout, The Class, and Dr. David Katz and his amazing family taught us about the basic care and feeding of humans. What could be more important than that?

Vani Hari aka FoodBabe inspired students and graduates to utilize their position and voice to change the healthcare system, and Eric Barron shared what it really takes to build your practice – aligned, real, relationships.

Pretty powerful stuff, right?

We had so much fun connecting with you, in person and over live stream. It was a truly IINspiring weekend and we can’t wait to connect with you at our next live event.

If you were there or you got to tune in, who was your favorite speaker and what was your biggest takeaway from the weekend? Why?

Share in the comments below – we can’t wait to hear from you!
