Samvida holds a bachelor’s in psychology and pre-medical studies from New York University and a master’s in nutrition science and policy from Tufts University. She is an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and writes about nutrition, primary food (family, personal finances, and self-care), lifestyle, health coaching, and food policy. Samvida has an extensive background in content development for a medical/healthcare start-up and an international nonprofit, in addition to contributing research, editing, and writing for a range of wellness books. Her passion for speaking to food, body image, culture, and cultural implications on disordered eating, relationships, and travel contribute to her work with IIN and beyond.
