Can Meditation Be a Form of Medicine? [Video]

The benefits of meditation have long been established, but remember when it was a thing mostly associated with hippies, yogis, and monks? Those days are long gone, and now everyone from Wall Street bankers to computer programmers are saying “om.”

We had the opportunity to learn from Dr. Jamie Zimmerman that meditation might be exactly what the world needs. Dr. Zimmerman was a physician who practiced what she called “meditation medicine,” and helped her clients reap the many physical, mental, and emotional benefits of meditation. As she said in our interview together, it's no mistake that the words “meditation” and “medication” sound so similar!
