What were you doing prior to enrolling at Integrative Nutrition?
I have been interested in health and wellness for a while. My husband has psoriatic rheumatoid arthritis, and we have been trying different diets and primary food to help ease the pain for a long time. I started juicing in 2013, which changed my world (and my husband’s!). My black cloud lifted; I was happier and healthier and had so much energy, and I was determined to spread the word. I left the corporate world in 2014 as a crime analyst with a recently required masters (eek!) to pursue juicing and all things health and wellness. My journey took me from building our home in London, United Kingdom, to moving to the United States and studying to be a juice therapist.

How did your life change after enrolling?
It has changed so much! I went in to the course thinking I would gain some factual knowledge on nutrition and some much-needed coaching skills. I did not expect the transformative journey it would take me on at all. During the course, I had a diagnosis of chronic stress and anxiety, and now I am calmer, happier, and way more chilled out than I have ever been. The course pushed me to dig deeper and find a diagnosis, and it gave me the strength to make the changes I needed to make and also to accept me for me. I am now confident I can help others manage stress and anxiety, which is awesome!

What were you doing prior to enrolling at Integrative Nutrition?
I enrolled at IIN during a big life transition. I had recently become certified in yoga and Pilates, left my 9-to-5 job in commercial real estate, and separated from my husband (in that order). It all happened so fast, and none of it was planned. My son, who at the time was one and a half, and I spent the summer living at my parents’ house while I got my apartment set up and work situation on track. For the five months leading up to my enrollment, I worked as a freelance marketing consultant, graphic designer, and copywriter. I also began teaching yoga and Pilates on the side.

How did your life change after enrolling?
My life changed dramatically during my year at IIN. On a personal level, I was able to step out of lifelong patterns of body image issues and disordered eating. Discovering what fills me up helped me understand how I can use food to fuel me so that I can do the things I want to do and show up in life as the best version of myself. I also learned how to be kinder to myself and listen to my body and honor its messages. Furthermore, I was able to let go of fear and embrace the responsibility of “modeling the way” for others. Professionally, IIN helped me transform my goals and visions into reality by breaking them down into attainable action steps and trusting the process. Looking back, I am amazed at what I’ve already accomplished!

What were you doing prior to enrolling at Integrative Nutrition?
Prior to enrolling at Integrative Nutrition, I was at the beginning of many things. I was starting a yoga business, risking a lot of money and energy and hoping it could give a fast return. I was also working full-time at my office as an architect, going crazy with my two jobs and my twin little girls. I was also taking a yoga training, which is my passion.

How did your life change after enrolling?
First and the more obvious, my eating habits went from taking care of what I eat to intentionally bringing energy and life through my food. It had a deep impact to have clarity in the path of spirituality and self-care, bringing intention to my meditation and my yoga practice. It also brought positive changes to my relationships with my family, friends, and coworkers.

Professionally, as an entrepreneur, I can say that it brought me strategy. I was rushing into wrong strategies with the intention of growing my business. The content of the program helped me establish organized methods with clear intentions and achievable goals.

My way of viewing, enjoying, and planning my life changed in a positive way.

What were you doing prior to enrolling at Integrative Nutrition?
Prior to IIN, I was in the corporate world working as the regional head for India’s largest online grocery supermarket.

How did your life change after enrolling?
My life first transitioned and then transformed. I lost 55 pounds, reversed all chronic lifestyle diseases, and felt 10 years younger. Most importantly, my social life improved, which was very poor, since I understood the concept of primary food and how that works, plus I understood that diets don’t work.

What were you doing prior to enrolling at Integrative Nutrition?
Prior to my IIN enrollment, I was very unsure about what my next step would be. Just before my enrollment, I had recently finished leading a youth camp, and it looked as if getting back to driving for Uber and Lyft was my only option. An option that I was very frustrated about if I’m being honest.

How did your life change after enrolling
My life changed drastically after enrolling in IIN! Shortly after the year began, I felt as if my desires and thoughts concerning health and starting my own practice were affirmed! I haven’t had much success with conventional schooling after high school. I now know that it wasn’t because there was something wrong with me; I just didn’t know where I was headed. Not only did IIN provide some direction, but I was encouraged to practice what I was learning almost immediately! We live in a society that is convinced that a ton of school is necessary before you can do much of anything, so that was refreshing.

I am currently operating as a Health & Life Coach, and I personal train as well! My priority within my practice is understanding my clients’ conditions, meaning who they are and how they operate as a result of life experience. From there, I help my clients through a process of renewal, whereby the gap between who they are and the best version of themselves is closed! Addressing mind, body, and spirit throughout my program has proven to be life-changing for everyone who I’ve worked with!

What were you doing prior to enrolling at Integrative Nutrition?
I am a homesteading and homeschooling mother. Prior to starting our family, I was a UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter pilot in the U.S. army. Prior to enlisting in the army, I was a pharmacy technician.

How did your life change after enrolling?
I lacked the confidence to approach others with what I knew to be true about health and healing. The training at IIN helped me step further out of my comfort zone because I knew that what I had to offer had true value on a wider scope.

What were you doing prior to enrolling at Integrative Nutrition?
Before enrolling at IIN, I was a staffing specialist for Flagler District Schools. A staffing specialist (or sometimes called program specialist) is considered an expert in exceptional student education, servicing students with disabilities, their families and teachers/therapists, and outside agencies.

Our district shifted how staffing specialists were utilized over the summer of 2018, and I applied for a leadership position as lead staffing specialist. I interviewed and was offered the position. It was a huge change for me, moving from “paper-pusher” to more of a leadership role. And I tackled this challenge while finishing my studies at IIN and establishing my business, Mosaic Wellness & Coaching.

How did your life change after enrolling?
I watched Mastin Kipp’s Courageous Action Meditation video and was brought to tears.

I have always volunteered to coordinate and run the summer program for students with disabilities, meaning I don’t get the usual weeks off like most educators. I thought about the worst that would happen, and it really wasn’t much. The next day, I affirmed to myself, “I’m not working ESY this summer.” As soon as I said this aloud, it felt as though the weight of the world came off my shoulders. It was absolutely the right decision, and that summer I took for myself propelled me to where I am today.

Taking that small step has helped set me up for early retirement from my primary career with the launch of Mosaic Wellness & Coaching.

What were you doing prior to enrolling at Integrative Nutrition?
I just finished 19 years of homeschooling my children. As a homemaker, I had the great opportunity and responsibility for caring for my family – body, mind, and soul. This love for health and holiness has always rippled out to my neighbors. I have always been the go-to girl for all things pertaining to health and faith.

How did your life change after enrolling?
Thankfully, I had full support from my family, and adjustments had to be made in my family life. All members were willing to pitch in to give me the time I needed for coursework.

What were you doing prior to enrolling at Integrative Nutrition?
I spent 12 years as a clinical nurse/midwife before diving into my true passion and purpose – educating others on the value of proactive and preventive health care

I run a successful global health and wellness business, where I am able to educate and empower others to take back responsibility for their health using natural solutions.

How did your life change after enrolling?
In regard to secondary food, IIN has complemented how I already live – we have been an additive-free family for eight years.

In regard to primary food, IIN has allowed me to really reflect on areas of my life that are not balanced and make conscious choices to restore more balance and boundaries. Self-care is something I prioritize now.
