Making this Sweet Potato Almond Butter Smoothie is a great way to ensure your body is receiving the best of the best nutrients. Sweet potatoes are high in beta-carotene, which is excellent for healthy skin, mucus membranes, our immune system, good eye health and vision. Along with other root vegetables, these are considered warming to the body and help with digestion. Foods like sweet potatoes help support the body to give it fuel and nourishment so your limbs won’t feel heavy, you won’t be exhausted, you’ll be able function with clarity throughout the day!
