“You can put your own spin on a journal by adding prompts on the pages. Gratitude journals help kick off the new year with a powerful emotional shift for the recipient! I include a handwritten note tucked into it with instructions on how to use it and a list of what I personally am most grateful for about them. I sometimes include specific moments when they were supportive, caring, and especially loving in the year that passed. People always get very excited about it and feel super loved and appreciated! You can include a special fancy pen in the gift for added cuteness.” – Roxi Ocasio
Homemade Infused Honey (or Olive Oil, Whiskey, Vodka...the options are endless!)

“It's made with your love, care, and creativity. Plus, it's inexpensive, sustainable, and practically waste-free!
- Let 1 tablespoon dried lavender steep in about 8–10 ounces wildflower honey (purchased high quality and in bulk from Costco) for about 2–3 weeks in a dry and cool place.
- Strain the dried lavender with a small mesh strainer, distribute into cute little jars, and add a cute handwritten tag and maybe even a recipe to utilize the honey.
And there you go!” – Anne Greco
Sugar Scrubs
“Sugar body scrubs are a fun DIY project, not to mention exfoliating, detoxifying, and super hydrating. Plus, they smell delicious! But don’t eat it!
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, cane sugar, or turbinado sugar. (Do not use refined or bleached sugar.)
- 3/4 cup ground coffee
- 3–5 tablespoons coconut oil, extra-virgin olive oil, or Jojoba oil. (Do not use vegetable or canola oil.)
Place sugar and coffee in small container and add oil one tablespoon at a time, mixing in between. You want the consistency to be sandy, not soupy.
*Be careful as shower/tub may be slippery!” – Crystal Lee
