We are licensed by the Ohio State Board of Career Colleges and Schools and affiliated with one of the largest university systems in the United States – The State University of New York (SUNY) – as well as other institutions that accept IIN’s Health Coach Training Program to be applied towards relevant degree programs. We have earned recognition by the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching (NBHWC) as an approved program provider, as well as recognition by other organizations that allow graduates of IIN to apply for membership.

IIN is recognized by the AFAA as an approved continuing education provider. The Health Coach Training Program is eligible for 15 AFAA CEUs.

National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM)
IIN is recognized by NASM as an approved continuing education provider. The Health Coach Training Program is eligible for 1.9 NASM CEUs.

National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching (NBHWC)
Institute for Integrative Nutrition’s Coaching Intensive Practicum 2.0 is an Approved Health and Wellness Coach Training & Education Program by the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching (NBHWC). Graduates of this program are eligible to apply for the HWC Certifying Examination to become a National Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC).
Once you become board-certified, you must complete 36 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) every three years with an approved program provider to maintain certification. IIN’s Advanced and Specialty Courses are approved by the NBHWC to fulfill this requirement.
Qualifi
Qualifi has recognized the quality of IIN’s Health Coach Training Program (HCTP) and, through their accreditation status, has awarded HCTP with the equivalent of 120 UK credits and 30 U.S. academic credits.
International Coaching Federation (ICF)
IIN’s Coaching Intensive Practicum (CIP) is an ICF-accredited Continuing Coach Education (CCE) Program. The ICF requires coaches to earn 40 CCE credits every three years in order to maintain their ICF coaching credentials. Of these 40 CCE credits, 24 must be core competency credits. IIN’s Coaching Intensive Practicum (CIP) is eligible for 40 CCE credits, satisfying 36 core competency credits plus 4 resource development credits.
The Health Coach Alliance (HCA)
This membership-based organization aims to bring Health Coaches together from all across North America (Canada; United States; Mexico) to foster professional and personal growth. Graduates of IIN’s Health Coach Training Program and Coaching Intensive Practicum (CIP) are eligible to apply to become members.
Health Coaches Australia and New Zealand Association (HCANZA)
This membership-based organization offers graduates of IIN’s Health Coach Training Program and Coaching Intensive Practicum (CIP) the ability to apply for their Professional Membership, which includes many opportunities for career growth, networking, and support.
National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM)
IIN is recognized by NASM as an approved continuing education provider. Fitness professionals certified by NASM can earn continuing education credits by taking our Health Coach Training Program as well as our Gut Health, Hormone Health, Detox Your Life, Whole Person Health, and Nutrition for Life courses.

The National College Credit Recommendation Service (NCCRS)
NCCRS partners with over 1300 colleges and universities in the U.S. and Canada to recommend college credits for non-traditional programs. These 1300 colleges and universities agree to accept NCRSS recommendations tailoring each recommendation for specific degree programs. Your completion of the Health Coach Training Program is likely accepted for college credit at your local college.
