Health Coaching Globally: What Is It?

I now work as a holistic career coach, where I help women discover their gifts, fulfill their purpose, and create a joyful life. Learning about primary food at IIN helped me see how our health, happiness, and fulfilment aren’t just influenced by nutrition; they’re also influenced by our career, spirituality, and how we take care of our mind and body.

Enrolling in IIN marked a major (and unexpected) turning point in my life! Now I consult with clients across geographies to assist them in developing their own individualized brands of wellness by taking small, progressive steps to optimize their lifestyles and find their equilibrium.

Since enrolling in IIN my life has changed in such a positive way. I’ve blended my medical background and IIN coaching to work as a lifestyle medicine specialist. I speak to audiences and coach both groups and 1:1, globally. I love the connection with people.

Before becoming a Health Coach I felt like I was living without a purpose. Then, in 2011, I found IIN and my life changed completely. I share IIN with everyone I know because I believe this program can transform many lives, not only mine.

Meeting a network of people who embodied such a high level of passion for life was so infectious. I learned to question my beliefs, increase my communication skills and discovered how I could be living. The knowledge that I learned through the school is immeasurable and has made me a part of something bigger than myself - a positive global movement!

Learning at IIN gave me a chance to start a new life. By learning new concepts about nutrition, I was able to meet the "real self" I had been searching for for over 10 years. I realized that "challenging job" and "building comfortable relationships" are essential nutrients for me, and now I am expanding the importance of primary food as a health coach in Japan.

IIN’s Health Coaching Program transformed me from a Mom with a big idea and a desire to help other parents feed their kids nutrient-dense food into a published author of an award-winning nutrition and cookbook and the founder of Mila’s Meals. I also have my own thriving health coaching practice.

We all need to help ourselves before helping others. Becoming a Health Coach allowed me to know myself on a deeper level. It helped me in dealing with my fear and anxiety related behaviors.

Valeria Lozano is founder of Grupo Hábitos; company dedicated to spreading a positive and healthy lifestyle through different programs with over 5,000 students from more than 25 spanish speaking countries. She is an IIN proud graduate.

IIN helped me put my passion into a picture. I finally get to do work that brings me joy and fulfillment by helping people to become their own healer and coaching them through a journey to health, balance and joy.

After completing the Health Coach Training Program I was able to leave my old job and start my own business where I’ve worked with women all over the world to improve their wellbeing. I’ve had two recipe books published and now I get to work less than 20 hours a week, and be around my children.

I joined IIN in September 2019 and graduated one year after. Since having embarked on that journey, my life has changed completely. Not only did my relationship level up, I also got pregnant with my first son who was born shortly before I graduated.

I’m so grateful for the personal health transformation I experienced during IIN’s Health Coach Training Program. IIN empowered me to listen to my body, honour my unique needs, and nourish myself with not only food, but also a balanced lifestyle.

I launched a health coaching business to inspire and help others to improve their brain health so they can transform into the most successful versions of themselves.

We all have different bodies that change throughout the phases of life. Integrative Nutrition allowed me the freedom to learn about various nutritional theories and apply them as I saw fit for my clients and myself. IIN is about the freedom of doing what works for you.
