New Heights for Health Coaches: IIN Live March 2013

Hundreds of Integrative Nutrition graduates came together last weekend in New York City – and many tuned in via live stream – to enjoy a weekend of health and wellness at our latest IIN Live Conference!
From business-building exercises to coaching techniques, attendees connected about how to take their health coaching practices to the next level. We learned about some amazing things our graduates are doing, including publishing books, working in schools, and creating mobile apps. Over 100 international graduates who flew in from all over the world took the stage to represent their countries. Those who joined us from home on the live stream followed the conversation on Twitter using #IINLive and on our IIN Live Events Facebook Page.
Throughout the weekend we heard from a list of renowned speakers on a variety of topics. Bestselling author and thought leader Gabrielle Berstein, and creator of The Desire Map and The Fire Starter Sessions Danielle LaPorte, both empowered us with inspirational talks on how to achieve the most out of life.
Integrative medicine expert and Founder of the Eleven Eleven Wellness Center Dr. Frank Lipman spoke on the vital role Health Coaches will play in the future of health care, and cookbook author and Top Chef alumni Candice Kumai gave a cooking demonstration. Congressman Dennis Kucinich and his wife Elizabeth, sustainable food and vegan advocate, spoke about the importance of Health Coaches in the political landscape.
Several business experts spoke on best marketing practices, including Karin Witzig Rozell, Robert Notter, Fabienne Frederickson, Marilena Minucci, Nisha Moodley, Stacey Morganstern and Carey Peters.
We enjoyed upbeat exercise breaks from Sarina Jain and Patricia Moreno, and a beautiful song from IIN graduate and singer Natalia Clavier.
Throughout the weekend, Integrative Nutrition Founder, Director, and Primary Teacher Joshua Rosenthal encouraged Health Coaches to take action toward reaching their goals and making the world a happier, healthier place.
A special group of graduates kept their fans and followers updated throughout the weekend as live bloggers! By sharing their personal experiences on their blogs, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, they were able to give others a peak into what it’s like to be part of the IIN community. Attending conferences is a great way for alumni to connect with others and share what’s new with their health coaching businesses.
