Today we’re excited introduce you to 2011 Integrative Nutrition graduate Julie Montagu. She’s taking over our Instagram account today – follow along here to see what a day in her life looks like!

Integrative Nutrition Graduate, Julie Montagu, is flexing her “Health Coach muscles” as an Author, Yoga Teacher, Cast member on Bravo TV's 'Ladies of London', and founder of The Flexi Foodie!

Six years ago, Julie came to Integrative Nutrition looking to enhance her own personal knowledge in nutrition and better support her yoga students. Now, she’s taking the world by storm!

We had a chance to connect with Julie on the eve of her third book launch to catch up on all that’s new and good in her life since Integrative Nutrition!

What were you doing prior to enrolling at Integrative Nutrition?
Before enrolling at IIN, I was teaching yoga in church halls in London as I was just starting out my yoga career and also looking after my four young children and my husband, who at the time, was very ill.

What led you to explore the Health Coach Training Program?
While I was doing my 2nd yoga teacher training course, a fellow yogi told me about IIN. As I was very keen about my own health and my family's health and wanted to learn more about nutrition and the foods we eat, I decided to check it out.

How did your life change after enrolling?
Wow! Where do I start! Not only did I re-stock my pantry but I started experimenting with some foods I'd never knew existed before coming on the IIN course. To be honest, cooking for my family took on a whole new level so I decided to start a blog, The Flexi Foodie, where I could upload the recipes and share them with others. Little did I know the blog would turn into not only 1 book deal, but 3 in total!

Which topics and modules were most beneficial for you?
Gosh, I feel like such a dinosaur writing this as it was over 6 years ago that I enrolled in IIN but the teacher that definitely stood out for me was Debbie Ford. Her energy, her words, her spirit made me believe in myself, made me trust that I could be anything I wanted to be, that I could achieve my dreams and my goals. I was so sad to hear about her passing, but to this day, I still listen to many of her podcasts as she was one incredible human being.

What are you doing now?
Right now, I'm in the midst of filming Season 3 for Bravo TV's 'Ladies of London' and am excited for it to air later this year! I'm also coming up to the launch of my 3rd cookbook: Superfoods Superfast which hits the States on the 2nd of August! And lastly, September 5th I am officially launching my baby... something that I've been working on for over 6 months.... Truly-Julie.com! It encompasses everything that I love! Yoga videos, podcasts, recipes, cooking demos, guided meditations and my personal Vlog! Each month is themed and well, it's just pretty awesome and can't wait for the world to know about it!

What makes you and your practice unique?
2 words: Unstoppable Energy

What do you love about your work?
I love being able to do what I love while at the same time being able to balance that with the love I have for my family.
