Will taking the Hormone Health Course change my title or scope of practice?

No—you'll earn a certificate and badge to showcase your accomplishment, but your title will remain the same. You'll be better equipped to work with more clients and go deeper within your scope to best support them.

What makes The Health Coach Training Program and curriculum unique?

Discovering your best self and taking those learnings to inspire and empower others is the heart and soul of what we do. We’re not your traditional nutrition program because we take a holistic approach to wellness and explore all of the things that affect your health – think relationships, spirituality, finances, physical activity, creativity, and more. This is integrative nutrition in action!

You'll have the opportunity to explore diverse dietary theories spanning from ancient Eastern Traditions to modern Western medicine, including our own unique core concepts, bio-individuality and primary food. But we’ll never tell you what’s “right” or “wrong,” because we don’t believe in that. We believe there’s no one-size-fits-all diet and as you go through the curriculum, you’ll learn what makes you feel like your best self and how to help clients achieve the same. You are your first client and you may find yourself losing weight, increasing your energy, and saying goodbye to all that negative self-talk. You will fall back in love with the most important person in your life—YOU.

You'll also be on the road to career freedom. We’ll train you to launch a meaningful career as a Health Coach and how to achieve your own personal goals for success. There's no recreating the wheel here. We've made launching the career of your dreams as easy as 1, 2, 3. You’ll hone essential coaching skills with the IINtegrative Coaching MethodTM, as well as learn critical marketing practices like finding your niche market, creating a website, and using social media.

What is the format of the Hormone Health Coaching Pathway?

In the first part of your pathway, The Health Coach Training Program, you'll gain the practical knowledge, self-awareness, and skills to earn the title of Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. This 40-module cohort-based course can be completed in approximately 10 months—or in half the time through our accelerated program. You'll gain access to weekly e-learning modules full of video and audio lectures, readings, and interactive activities spanning the topics of nutrition, multidimensional health, coaching, and business. You'll bring your learning to life through monthly IINsight Hours webinars, expert-led Coaching Circle calls, and a 4-week IINtegration Lab where you'll receive live mentorship and support for building out a personalized business or transformation plan to support your success after you graduate. You'll have opportunities for practice as well as the option to begin seeing clients halfway through the program, so you can start generating income before you graduate. By the end of this course, you'll be prepared to better support clients, develop a niche in hormone health coaching, and use this information to support your own optimal wellbeing.

In the second part of your pathway, the Hormone Health Course, you'll explore self-paced e-learning across 11 modules on your own schedule. Dive deep into the workings of the endocrine system, common hormonal imbalances, and related conditions. Learn about the hormonal changes that occur across the adult lifespan and explore nutrition and lifestyle strategies for encouraging resiliency and balance. Understand how hormones interact with other bodily systems like the gut and explore how to approach topics including supplements and lab testing from the scope of practice of a Health Coach. Each module consists of video lectures, readings, activities, and knowledge checks, while a content library and business toolkit help you go deeper to support yourself and others.

Does completing this course automatically qualify me to take the board certification exam?

The Health Coach Training Program is an important first step on the path, but you will also need to meet NBHWC requirements through IIN's Coaching Intensive Practicum and then register to sit for the board certification exam.

What are the benefits of this bundle?

1. A Clear, In-Demand Niche
Hormone health gives coaches a focused area of expertise, helping them stand out in a crowded wellness space. Instead of being a generalist, they can confidently support clients through common (and often underserved) concerns like PMS, perimenopause, energy imbalances, and mood shifts.

2. Confidence Supporting Complex Client Needs
The Health Coach Training Program builds foundational coaching skills, while the hormone health course adds depth—so coaches feel more equipped to support clients navigating layered, real-life challenges.

3. Whole-Person, Root-Cause Approach
Together, the programs reinforce a holistic lens—connecting nutrition, lifestyle, stress, sleep, and emotional well-being to hormone balance, rather than taking a symptom-only approach.

4. Expanded Career Opportunities
With both coaching skills and a specialization, graduates can explore more targeted offerings—like hormone-focused programs, group coaching, workshops, or partnerships with practitioners.

5. Stronger Client Outcomes
When coaches combine behavior change skills with deeper subject knowledge, they’re better able to guide sustainable change—leading to more impactful and lasting client results.

6. Credibility + Differentiation
This combination positions coaches as knowledgeable and intentional in their focus, helping build trust with clients who are actively seeking support for hormone-related concerns.
