Integrative Nutrition Holds First Latin American Conference in Mexico City

This past weekend, over 100 Integrative Nutrition graduates flew in from cities across Mexico, South America, the United States, and Europe to join Founder, Director, and Primary Teacher Joshua Rosenthal at Integrative Nutrition’s first conference in Latin America. The landmark event reflected Integrative Nutrition’s commitment to empowering its international community and spreading a ripple effect of health and happiness across the globe.

Held at Club de Industriales, this special conference was organized by four exceptional graduates: Ana Arizemendi and Georgina Ferrer, both class of 2011, and Gabriela Bambrick-Santoyo and Caren Laboy, both class of 2012. The focus of the conference was on vocational training, confidence building, and creating a sense of community among Spanish-speaking graduates.

Joshua opened the event with an inspiring speech that emphasized how Spanish-speaking Health Coaches play a crucial role in reversing the global health crisis. The Hispanic community is widely underserved, and Health Coaches who work with this community by providing information and inspiration are true leaders.

Integrative Nutrition has made several recent strides to empower its Spanish-speaking community around the world. Joshua’s landmark book Integrative Nutrition: Feed Your Hunger for Health and Happiness is now available in Spanish translation. Furthermore, Integrative Nutrition just donated $5,000 to Escuela de Parteras Profesionales del Estado de Guerrero, the first professional midwifery school in Mexico that is dedicated to improving nutrition for the most impoverished.

The first part of the conference was dedicated to strengthening coaching skills and setting a clear business strategy. Attendees then discussed how to turn their vision into a reality.

The second part of the conference was focused on creating an “abundance mindset.” Joshua emphasized that earning a good income enables Health Coaches to help their clients better, and attendees should work on establishing financial goals and enjoying rewards once they reach them. He outlined practical steps on how to monetize businesses online and successful graduates shared their own inspirational testimonials.

Attendees shared a delicious lunch of healthy Mexican food, and by the end of the day, the event had turned into a real fiesta – a celebration of like-minded people working towards a common vision. Other activities over the weekend included a welcoming happy hour, a yoga class, and a festive Sunday brunch.
