What were you doing before Integrative Nutrition?
Working as a personal trainer and a martial arts instructor.
Why did you choose to learn at Integrative Nutrition?
I was intrigued by all of the experts that were coming to speak, many of whose books I had already read.
How has your life changed since enrolling in the Integrative Nutrition program?
After IIN, I had the confidence and ability to counsel clients in nutrition and add it to my practice. I love feeling like a detective, uncovering client's true imbalances and what causes them.
What do you love about Integrative Nutrition?
The community, the message, and the movement.
How are you making a difference in your community?
I am empowering women through boot camps and self-defense workshops. I volunteer at homeless shelters for women and teach them self-defense.
What you love about what you do?
I love the success stories! I get emails, calls and Yelp testimonials from clients about how much stronger, leaner, healthier and happier they are. The message I want to get out is empowerment: everyone can make small changes in his or her life now. Don't try, just do it.
