What were you doing prior to enrolling at Integrative Nutrition?

I am a high school social studies teacher at a school district in Rochester, New York, and serve as a seminar instructor for the topic, ‘Hungry for Equity: Reducing Food Insecurity and Increasing Food Access,’ as well as teaching a Spring Seminar on Health and Stress Management.

I am very passionate about spreading awareness to all of my students about what they are eating and drinking and how it impacts their bodies, performance in sports, and performance in class.

How did your life change after enrolling?

This program was a blessing this past year.  What I was learning I actually applied in real time. It got me through the dark days and I am eager to help those who want to work on this thing called life, together.    

I am more confident in my ability to coach and honestly, feel more positive in my day to day life. I am deep breathing, gratitude journaling, and experimenting with meditation. My goal is to help students with not only health, but emotional wellness, and stress management and to also help those around me live better, healthier lives, because I want people to feel good and love life.

What were you doing prior to enrolling at Integrative Nutrition?

I was and still working as a Boss Lab at Hospital in Cuenca. I do COVID tests to early diagnostic and I was invited to represent Ecuador at the Gobal Citizen live Lady Gaga´s concert during 2020.

How did your life change after enrolling?

Totally. I put all the topics I love together. I didn´t know that there could be a place where I could find it all. I feel totally confident and more passionate than ever before in my life.
