Sheri is a licensed and registered dietitian nutritionist with over a decade of experience providing medical nutrition therapy in clinical and community settings. Sheri received her bachelor’s in food and nutrition and accredited dietetic internship from Meredith College in Raleigh, North Carolina, and her master of public health from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, which included international public health and nutrition work in Zambia. Sheri believes in the power of food as medicine and enjoys weaving mindfulness and yoga into her nutrition teachings. She has two young sons and enjoys traveling, camping, drumming, gardening, and hiking with her family. She teaches yoga classes inspired by Food and Flow (nutrition and yoga) for both adults and children. Her favorite fruits and veggies? Fresh fig, avocado, and okra!
